Reecie is studying with Dr. Mica Glantz as a biological anthropologist with a special interest in dental anthropology, human growth and development, and juvenile bioarchaeology. Her current thesis research involves a collection of juvenile remains recovered from the necropolis of an Iron Age Illyrian hillfort on the island of Korčula, Croatia. Reecie has been a graduate teaching assistant (GTA) for Human Origins and Variations Laboratory and will serve as a GTA for Human Osteology this fall. During her undergraduate years at the University of Chicago, Reecie participated in fieldwork and thesis research in Vitor, Peru.
