Whether it's cage diving with sharks, climbing a mountain or trekking through the desert, Julia is ready for an adventure. Before arriving at Colorado State University to complete her doctorate, Julia served in the US Peace Corps in Benin, West Africa as a Rural Community Health Advisor. In 2015, Julia completed her Master of Arts in Applied Geography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During her graduate and undergraduate work, Julia served in the National Park Service as a Ranger and Guide for over 3 years in Florida, Arizona and North Carolina. In 2014, Julia completed a field school in human and environmental relations in Thailand and Cambodia. In 2011, Julia graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BA in Biology and a BA in Anthropology. That same year Julia completed a field school in geophysical archaeology.
