Celena Westberry grew up in Coastal Georgia. After turning eighteen she moved to California and has since lived, studied, and worked in Santa Cruz, San Diego, and Boston. She received her BA in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Celena has experience working with historical and pre-contact time periods in North America. Her interests in Archaeology are broad but she hopes to focus her research on environmental influences in Indigenous communities within the Americas.
Outside of archaeology and the classroom, Celena enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, camping, and playing with her two dogs.
