Plans After Graduation
After graduation, I will be taking a short break and preparing for the GRE so that I may begin researching and applying to graduate programs. I hope to enter a program for Museum Studies or Biomedical Anthropology and will be using my break to think more about what research I may be interested in doing. As far as long term plans go, I think I would really love to be working in a museum setting, ideally doing curation, collections management, or administrative work.
Note to Current Students
My most memorable experience was presenting my capstone research at the symposium this past fall semester. The capstone symposium is such a great opportunity for undergraduates to have the experience of presenting their research to not only their peers, but also their professors and other faculty within the department. Personally, my capstone project challenged me, made me realize that I am capable of more than I often give myself credit for, and was overall an incredibly valuable experience that I am very thankful for. Also, I would like to give a special thanks to Kim Nichols for all of the time she dedicated to working with me and helping me along with my research!
