B.A. in Anthropology, Colorado State University
B.A. in Languages, Literature, & Culture, Colorado State University
I am not totally confident in which route I will take in regards to more school or starting to gain work experience. I would love to do something related to forensics, pathology, or in the medical field.
Note to Current Students
My entire collegiate career as an anthropology student is unforgettable. I particularly enjoyed learning about biological variations from Dr. Ann Magennis because it was the first class that introduced me to how anthropology is applicable in the real world. I really enjoyed Osteology with Dr. Mica Glantz. The final project was focused around skeletons from an insane asylum in Pueblo, Colorado and this sparked my love for pathology and forensic science. I will never forget Archaeology in Mesoamerica with Dr. Chris Fisher. The class was applicable to both of my degrees and was taught so well that I am able to teach people in my Spanish major about the history of Mesoamerica. I will never forget Medical Anthropology with Keri Canada because the class made me appreciate my major as a science and helped me understand how medical anthropology or anthropology in general is essential to other fields of science. Lastly, I will always remember the 2015 Paleontology Field School I did with Kim Nichols. It was an unforgettable experience that I had the pleasure of sharing with a great group of people.
