In 2014, Evan Polzer received his Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology at Colorado State University. Under the mentor-ship of Dr. Jeff Snodgrass, Evan will be focusing his research on the communal therapeutics and the positive effects of music subcultures on young adults. Specifically, Evan is researching how enjoyment of and engagement in heavy metal and hardcore music subcultures can result in positive changes to the mental well-being of participants. Evan Polzer is also involved in research looking at the effects of MMO and MOBA video games on players through analysis of various biological markers. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys learning languages, travelling, hiking, and rock climbing.
