B.A. in Anthropology and a Minor in Spanish, Sewanee, TN
Alex grew up in Wake Forest, NC and attended The University of the South in Sewanee, TN where she completed her B.A. in Anthropology, focusing coursework on archaeological practice and method. She has worked on varied archaeological projects in the southeastern United States, as well as abroad. Alex is interested in geospatial and remote sensing technologies as they apply to reconstructing prehistoric landscapes and discerning past human influences on the environment. She hopes to incorporate these interests into a Master's thesis surrounding the Mesoamerican region during her time at CSU.
