M.A. in Anthropology, Colorado State University
Dr. Jeff Eighmy and Dr. Liz Morris
Currently, I am the Chief of Planning at the Intermountain Regional Office of the National Park Service in Lakewood, Colorado.
Note to Current Students
My degree in Anthropology was the key to getting a position in the National Park Service (NPS). I have now managed a number of National Park Units including the most recent time at Great Sand Dunes NP. In addition, I served as the NPS liaison to the Secretary of the Interior for two years. I maintain my archaeological status with the NPS as a certified field archaeologist and a member of the Colorado Council of Professional Archaeologists. The best of my times at Colorado State University were the Field School at Spring Gulch and the later “paid” contract archaeology surveys with Laboratory of Public Archaeology (LOPA) and Dr. Liz Morris in the Colorado Mountains.
