Anthropology Careers and Internships

A degree in anthropology provides any number of advantages for your future. Employers look for candidates that have critical thinking, comprehensive writing and analytical skills, and a creative approach to solving problems. Knowledge of contemporary or past cultures and an appreciation for a broad range of theory and concept is what gives our students this edge as they prepare to enter the workforce. If you are interested in becoming a professional anthropologist or want to go on to pursue a graduate course of study in anthropology, the Department of Anthropology at CSU has resources for you. We have placed students completing our BA program in prestigious graduate programs around the country and want to help you prepare for your career post undergraduate work as well.

There are a wide variety of professional pursuits that students enjoy once they have completed a degree in anthropology. Some of the many fields that our students go into include:
